چکیده

Tamarindus indica is one of the medicinal plants used in treatment various diseases traditionally.
Aims: This study was conducted to identify phytochemical constituents T. leaf extracts. Methods: Using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) identification bioactive compounds extracts indica.
Results: The FT-IR spectrum confirmed presence alcohol group, alkene amine carbonates, ethers, carboxylic acid disulfides both extracts.
 A total 22 38 were identified ethanolic aqueous indica, respectively. major extract leaves cis-Vaccenic acid, trans-13-Octadecenoic Oleic Acid, Octadecanoic 2-(2-hydroxyethoxy) ethyl ester, Eicosanoic Eicosane, 1-Iodo-2-methylundecane, 10-Methylnonadecane. While 3-O-Methyl-d-glucose, Myo-Inositol, 4C-methyl-, 2-C-methyl-, Propane, 2,2-dimethoxy-, 1,3-Dioxolane, Ethanol, 2-(1-methylethoxy)-, 2-Pentanone, 4-hydroxy-4-methyl-, 2-Hexanol, 2-methyl-, Ethanamine, N-methyl.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Chemometric analysis of Nicotiana tabacum FAME’s using GC/MS, FT IR and NMR spectroscopic studies

Nicotiana tabacum commonly known as Tobacco plant which has broad application over soap, paint and cigar industries was now investigated for biodiesel production. Nicotiana tabacum seeds were one of the prominent sources for non-edible oil. Oil from Tobacco seeds were expelled with Soxhlet extraction apparatus using n-hexane as extraction solvent. Two stage trans-esterification has been adopted...
